An immersive arena experience
Hits Radio Live
Hits Radio is a vibrant pop music station that brings the biggest artists to the stage. After a bold rebrand, Hits Radio collaborated with us to create immersive visuals for their live shows, unveiling the station's fresh look through an unforgettable arena experience at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena.
The visuals feature bright and blocky aesthetics, using energetic motion design. We wanted to maximise the screen real estate for full viewer immersion, fully taking over the arena with motion graphics.
Our approach of stark typography and artist imagery to emphasise the big names performing, and show off an amazing line up of talent. We worked closely with Hits Radio's station sound team to create an intricate audiovisual production that builds excitement and energy in the arena, drawing the audience into the Hits Radio universe. Visuals and audio were perfectly matched with lighting design and pyro to create impactful moments in the show.
Video bumpers and screen loops were designed to maintain brand presence during transitions and intervals, contributing to a seamless and cohesive visual experience throughout the show.
An ultra-wide digital banner with subtle motion accompanied event hashtags and logos, providing a call to action for the audience along with consistent brand presence above the stage.
To extend the show's bold identity online, we created reusable digital assets for Hits Radio's social media channels. This included endboards, stings, background loops, overlays, custom transitions, artist lineup announcements, and custom lower thirds templates for YouTube content.
Our motion langage for the event can be broken down into three key elements. The distinctive Hits Radio logo shape, zig zag wiggles which dance across the screen, paired with ultra bold dynamic typography springing across the screen with vigour.
