The Circle 2024
In this lighthearted and strategic competition series, the players must choose whether to be themselves or other people, all while chasing a cash prize. Players communicate through the voice activated platform 'The Circle'. We designed and delivered a fresh look for this hit reality tv show for the latest series, from its new home in Atlanta, Georgia.
The brand is brighter, bolder and cheekier with slick new UI across The Circle to bring it bang up to date with the current aesthetic world of social media. The Circle comes alive with new motion principles. These include 'streams of light' which fly across The Circle, suggesting the notion of making connections, allies and enemies across the game.
A redesigned 'Alert' screen communicates to Players it's time to pay attention. To create a more immersive screen, the streams of light emit from the core of The Circle, grounded in the idea that information is incoming from The Circle.
Colour and motion is used to identify Players who leave the game. The motion slows down, with deep red and purple hues to signpost that The Circle is no longer available for the Player and they are now 'Blocked'.
We designed a full edit kit of parts ranging from multi layered chat tool kits, wipes and graphics furniture to bring the show narrative to life.
